Suitable for pupils, students, parents, education
Youth coaching provides a safe place with no judgement, it is not counselling, therapy or mentoring. Therapy will help you unravel the past to make sense of how you are feeling right now.
Coaching will take you as you are right now and work with you get to where you want to be in the future, from this day forward.
Coaching can be delivered face-to-face, by phone or virtually which means you can stay in the comfort of your own home too. Your coach holds a full PVG and a highly skilled accredited professional.
Coaching has long been associated with sports. Athletes and teams have people to help improve their performance and achieve their goals. Even Athletes at the very peek of their (near super-hero) abilities have had their confidence shaken, self-doubt and anxiety creeps in. The coach will ask them about what’s causing them to feel this way (triggers), what could they do to manage it going forward and take control of how they feel again. The coach will help them recognise the triggers and take-action before it starts affecting performance again.
With this knowledge, Athletes feel more confident and resilient, they have new tools to use and can work to achieve their goals.
Youth coaching isn’t any different. We are all super-hero’s and need the tools to be able to grow and develop to become the best version of ourselves.
A youth coach can help:
- Manage stress and pressure
- Build resilience
- Learn to manage emotions
- Build confidence and social skills
- Help get back on track
- Provide support on difficult or embarrassing issues
- Discover potential and set goals to reach it
A complementary conversation is available to parents and carers as well as the individual.
As well as coaching for pupils, students and teaching staff, we offer training sessions in schools, colleges and universities.
