The Foyer is a successful local charity working to support individuals in communities across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire. We enable young people and adults to deal with and move on from tough situations including homelessness, unemployment, long term mental health conditions, addiction and poverty.
We provide accommodation with support to former homeless and at-risk young people to enable them to identify skills and aspirations, to plan for their future in a safe and supporting environment.
Being in work brings about lasting change to people who have faced challenges in their lives by providing a real sense of purpose. We deliver linked up services through informal as well as accredited learning and training. We work in partnership with North East Scotland College and local employers to enhance employment opportunities.
The Foyer works to reduce poverty and disadvantage, supporting people who face multiple barriers to build confidence, develop and nurture talent and make real and lasting changes in their lives.
Integral to the Foyer are our businesses Foyer Graphics and Roadwise Driver Training CIC creating profits to support the work of the Foyer. The businesses raise the profile of the Foyer in the wider community as well as providing invaluable employment, work experience and training opportunities. Critically Foyer Graphics and Roadwise allow customers to engage with us on a business-to-business basis.
